Looking for an East Sussex campsite or holiday park? There are miles and miles of long-distance footpaths to amble on all over the county, such as the Sussex Border Path, South Downs Way and of course the 1066 Country Walk: East Sussex and Hastings are also famous as Battle Country, where the hapless Harold lost his rumble (and peeper) to William the Conqueror.
More modernly, East Sussex’s Beachy Head is where thousands of wizards descended for the Quidditch World Cup in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Have a promenade along the beach here or any of the other scenic spots on the East Sussex coast, then check out East Sussex’s pile of indoor attractions: stately piles, castles, caves and adventure parks among others. And then a bit of Brighton, we suggest, to round it all off.
