Cardiff, we reckon. Just to start off with, just for a week or two…then another week or two around Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons and from there a few days of an amble around Offa’s Dyke. And then to the coast, where which we reckon at least a (goodly) chunk of a holiday in Wales should be spent: there were over forty Blue Flag beaches in Wales at last count, and 42 per cent of its south and west coastline is designated Heritage Coast.
Which means we also reckon you should look for Welsh campsites using our watery filters for some of your hols: check for campsites and holiday parks in Wales near beaches, near watersports or with sailing nearby for starters. Into drier pursuits? Look for camping in Wales near a wealth of other activities like mountain biking or climbing, or by amenities on site, availability, groups allowed and more.
