Vakantiepark Het Timmerholt is a spacious park situated around a private, well-stocked fishing lake which also offers plenty of opportunities for canoeing and pedal boating. You can swim by the sandy beach and there are several hiking and biking trails in the area.
The campsite facilities consist of a tennis court, a play area for the children, a pétanque area and a toilet and shower block as well as a launderette.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can now make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children on one pitch.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.

Local attractions
The campsite is in the heart of the province of Drenthe, surrounded by nature and yet with the convenience of being close to the village of Westerbork. Near the park there is lots of moorland and forest to discover.
Villages typical of the region, such as Diever and Dwingeloo, are within cycling distance. For shopping, the towns of Emmen, Assen and Hoogeveen are 25km. away and you can reach the city of Groningen within half an hour.
Within 20km of the park, there are nine golf courses which offer plenty of challenge to both novice and experienced players.

Vakantiepark Het Timmerholt cancellation policy
90-60 days: 50% van het saldo zal worden gehouden
60-31 days: 75% van het saldo zal worden gehouden
30-1 days: 90% van het saldo zal worden gehouden
No refunds for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures.
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please give as much notice as possible so that someone else has the chance to book. You may wish to buy holiday insurance for cancellations and for your property/injury whilst away.
Please note that your deposit is paid to Pitchup.com and is non-refundable.
Payment
A 15% non-refundable deposit is payable now. Vakantiepark Het Timmerholt will debit the balance from your card 12 weeks before arrival, or if the arrival date is sooner than 12 weeks then the balance will be taken immediately.
You can also opt to pay the full amount at the time of your booking, or at any point before the due date.
Tax
Local eco/city tax of €1.55 per person per night is not included and must be paid on arrival.
