General
- Kent countryside site with a warm and friendly atmosphere
- Dog-friendly
- Immaculately maintained amenities
'Top of the range', 'luxurious' and 'immaculate' are a few of the accolades heaped upon the amenities at Still Acres Touring and Camping Park by grateful guests: if an essential part of your hol is sparkling and modern essentials, you'll be well set up here.
But there's more. Partly because the owners of this warm and friendly family-run site in the midst of Kent know their stuff and partly because of the site's setting: Still Acres is just outside Wealden village, with easy access to Kent's beaches, castles and many historic houses – if you're happy to go a bit further you could even venture to la belle France.
The site is on 28 acres of scenic and flat grassland with two acres set aside for guests; dogs are most welcome too and have a fenced off area for off-lead frolics.
And as for the accoladed amenities? The shower block on site is centrally heated, with disabled toilets and powerful showers and hand dryers – and all is immaculately maintained by the Still Acres team.

Many sites set a maximum occupancy of 6/8 people per pitch, so try breaking your booking down into smaller groups to generate more results. For example, if you’re a group of 10, enter 5 people in your initial search and then book 2 pitches.
However, where the pitch or accommodation occupancy allows it, you can now make a booking for up to 30 adults and 30 children on one pitch.
To book multiple pitches or accommodation, use the 'Special requests' box on the booking page to ask to be sited together. Complete the booking form for the first booking (you can add a password and save your card so that we remember your details). Then click "Make another booking like this" at the top of the confirmation page to make the next booking.
Large groups: check the listing page for any group restrictions set out in the terms and section titled ‘Please note’.
Large tents/caravans: check the restrictions on unit dimensions to ensure your unit is suitable for the space you will be provided with.

Local attractions
Still Acres Touring and Camping Park is most niftily located in a central position to some of the most popular Kent attractions, gardens and beaches, so pack a picnic and set off for the day to see what you can see.
Castle fans (everyone should be a castle fan) have a few famed piles in the area to pick from: the Still Acres team reckons that Leeds Castle, with 500 acres of parkland and formal gardens, daily activities and free flying falconry displays, is one of the best days out in Kent.
You could/should also get along to Chiddingstone Castle, set in 35 acres of grounds including a lake, rose garden and woodland, and with the collections of Denys Eyre Bower who owned and lived at Chiddingstone between 1956 and 1977. Dover Castle, set above the famed white cliffs, and Tonbridge Castle, dating back to the eleventh century, are also popular castley Kent picks.
If it's old piles you're after, also see Georgian Belmont House and Gardens in Throwley, near Faversham, and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Canterbury Cathedral, St Augustine's Abbey and St Martin's Church.
