Even for beautiful Bretagne, Morbihan is an especially spectacular spot. We could wander/sail happily for weeks around its gorgeous gulf Morbihan – not to mention celeb-spotting around its few dozen islands (all but two of the Morbihan islands are private, but we’re sure the celebs will appreciate you waving/calling merrily from your boat).
Then, once we move on/are moved on by les gendarmes, the three thousand megalithic monuments of the Carnac stones are there to rub for luck (if we dare; they’re said to be entrances to the underworld). And then possibly have some surfing and village hopping at Quiberon Bay, then go inland for castles (Morbihan has over a thousand), look at ancient walled town Vannes and quite possibly mange a few crêpes…
